The Overberg Crane Group (OCG) wishes to thank the Somerset West Motor Club for its kind donation. The donation followed the completion of the Blue Crane Rally, at the Caledon Casino, just outside Caledon. The donation is essential for the OCG to continue providing an effective service to the community through biodiversity conservation.
According to Mick D’Alton, OCG Chairman, the link between sport and nature-based conservation is a necessary one. “In this manner, the Somerset West Motor Club has helped, not only through the donation, but also through the awareness created among the broader public of the plight of our natural heritage.”
